A complex but natural process
Behind the Postural Complex Process (PCP) hides this natural ability that enables us to move in our environment.
What is more natural than to stand, what is more natural than to move from one point to another without bumping, what is more natural than to evaluate without thinking the distance that separates us from an object and to be able to grasp it or avoid it without any effort.
This ability that we have to move naturally in space is included in our physique, in our bodies, in our mind. One could say that this ability comes at birth. This makes us completely forget that behind this natural functioning there is a whole complex process that is completely unknown : the Postural Complex Process (PCP).
The Postural Complex Process, present and active at all time
If PCP does not makes much sense to you, there are common expressions that describe the level of performance of your Postural Complex Process ; we use them without knowing they describe this unknown process which presence we feel at each time.
« To be tired, to be lost, to have pain, to be without enthusiasm, to feel old, to be uncomfortable, rusty, exhausted, goofy, to have a fragile back» are all expressions that indicate a low level of performance of the Postural Complex Process.
« To be in a good shape, to stay fit, to feel good, to have feet firmly planted on the ground, to be comfortable, alert, to feel young » are all expressions that refer, without letting us know, to a higher level of performance of the Postural Complex Process.
